She had her Junior Warrant by the time she was 10.1/2 months, and was continually shown and won regularly whilst out of coat between her JW and 2 years of age. Devon has now grown a lovely coat, as you can see from the photo, and continues to be in the cards at the majority of shows she attends. Alas Devon is not to be mated as we tried it once and she didn't like it!!! She produced a beautiful blue boy whom I named Felix (first ever colour in the Navillus line) who sadly had to be pts at three weeks as he had hydrcephalus. I won't be putting her or me through that again. Some dogs just aren't meant for it I guess. Devon will concentrate on her show career (my tongue is in my cheek), and see where that takes us. There's never a dull moment with Devon around, so whatever happens she'll keep me entertained for a long time to come ... |
